In celebration of WWF’s 13th edition of Earth Hour from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm on 30 March 2019, Alila Solo invites you to join the global community in shining a light on climate action while gathering together for 'Kembali Tempo Doeloe', an evening of Javanese food, music, and dance.

Meaning “back in the old days”, Kembali Tempo Doeloe will transport guests back to the days of Solo’s royal era at Largo Poolside on the 6th floor of the hotel, the perfect place for chilling out under the stars. This breezy open space will be transformed into an Indonesian night market with a lively festival feel, inspired by traditions of old with a modern twist.

Amid the nostalgic atmosphere and the flickering glow of candle lamps and lanterns, the air will be filled with the tantalizing aroma of traditional Indonesian street food served buffet-style. As well as this incredible feast of flavors, guests will be treated to a taste of true Javanese culture in live local music and dance performances, including the mesmerizing sounds of the gamelan and the spellbinding fire dance.
